LAGSL All-Stars Wall of Champions
Los Alamitos Girls Softball League has been the pinnacle of top-notch recreation league softball. Over the last decade the leagues All-Stars teams have compiled ___ National Championships, 4 State Championships, 3 District Championships. Along with 2 Runner-ups in Nationals, 1 State and 2 Districts. The Leagues teams have compiled a staggering 29 Invitational Tournament Championships and 23 Runner-ups in those tournaments. As a league we have qualified 18 teams for States and 11 teams for Nationals dating back to 2011.

Rancho Penasquitos Memorial Day Tournament:
All-Star teams with a great showing for the long weekend. Both 10U Red and 12U played until Monday coming up a little short on placing. 10U blue went 5-1 on the weekend with a big walk off single to win against Buena Vista and advancing to the Championship game.

ASA Western Region Nationals
12U Red: Finished 4th out of 46 teams. Had a great week of softball just came up a little short.
10U Red: Runner-up, 2nd out of 42 teams. Finished the tournament 6-2 in bracket play, 2-0 in pool play.
ASA So Cal States:
All three Red All-Star teams with another great showing! with two divisions moving on to nationals. The Los Alamitos 8U Red softball team finished 2nd in the B State Championship Tournament held over the 4th of July weekend. They won their first 3 games, outscoring their opponents 13-4 until their 1st loss against Rancho Trabuco. They battled back in 100+ degree weather with another 3 straight wins to face Rancho Trabuco once again for the Championship, falling short by just one run after time had expired.

Simi Valley Amanda McPerson Tournament:
Strong showings by 10U red and 8U red. 8U Red softball team wins the runner up trophy at the 11th Annual Amanda McPherson All-Star Tournament this past Father's Day weekend. They went undefeated in pool play and played a hard fought 3 games in a row before coming up short by just 2 runs in the Championship game.

LAGSL Tournament:
LASGL 12U Red All-Star team took the Championship this weekend. They had an overall 5-win, no loss record, beating Camarillo in an ITB championship game 3-2. Congratulations girls!!

La Habra Tournament:
LAGSL blue teams good showing this weekend. The 8U blue team won all three games, outscoring their opponents 39-9 to advance to the championship.
